After Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman rolled out Budget 2020 on Saturday, the ruling Mahagathbandhan parties termed it disappointing and said it was contrary to the people's aspirations. Meanwhile, the state BJP unit hailed the budget and called it visionary and development-oriented.
